Fuse keeps blowing out. 1987 560SEL

I have a fuse that keeps blowing out. The fuse operates the horn the flashers and the outside temperature. Is there anything that you can suggest to fix this? I have a 1987 560SEL. I totally appreciate any advice that can be given.

Just guessing here, but I would suspect a short in the steering wheel contacts for the horn. If you remove the steering wheel, along with alot of dirt and debris in the cup, you may find a broken spring. The spring is used to keep the contact piece of the wheel in "contact" with the column to activate the horn. Another possibility is the wire that connects the ring may have come loose. And grounding out. Before you pull the wheel, though, lift the hood and look closely at the wires that attach to the horns themselves. A rock could have hit the horns wires and pierced them both causing a short.
If all seems well here, then the relays could be at fault. One for the horn and another for the flasher. The switch for the flashers could have worn out too. Good luck.

Does the fuse blow out as soon as it is installed, or when one of those items are used?
