Trying to locate 2007 221 chassis CL600
Any car dealers out there with one of these on their lot?

We've sold a bunch of 550's, but I haven't seen a 600 yet. Try http://www.mbusa.com/index.do to see if you can find one in your area.
FWIW, the CL chassis designation is C216, not 221. |

I have to say, they look better in pics than in person, at least according to the white one I saw. Maybe I need to look closer. The 215, to me, is the most distinctive modern MB there is, next to the 124 Cabrio.

Thats interesting. For most of the other S class coupes they kept the chassis number the same and suddenly now it gets its own chassis numbers. One has to wonder whats going on over in Germany these days. |

Like many other of the S class coupes its apparent that Mercedes designs the sedan first and then tries to turn that design into a coupe. Sometimes it works well and sometimes it does not. You have to do a little more in my opinion than remove a set of doors and change the grille design to have a sucessful coupe. |
