Hello all, I am a new member and I have a question for the group. I purchased a 86 190E from a friend of mine, The car is in EXCELLENT shape the only issues are the sunroof, radio, and passenger power window. I was given the car for 200.00 so I couldnt resist the opportunity. I am the 3rd owner and I am having a BIG hesitation problem. When I step on the gas the car goes (just barely) then it gets a big thrust of power and goes to speed. Now I noticed that while driving @ 65mph the rpms are @ an amazing 3500 to 4000 rpms I am assuming it is the tranny that is the issue but I am not sure. Another tidbit the hesitation isnt as bad with SuperUnleaded gas in it but it is still there. I had a tune up about 1 month ago (seeing the person I bought the car from NEVER had one given to it). So if anyone could maybe clue me in it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
