Electric window function questions

I have a 92 500E that has been experienceing a slow battery drain. I have trouble shot it a little and it seems to be pulling current in the convenience module circuit. I know that the module is good, however the door switches do not work the windows/sunroof. I was checking the window switches and they are always hot (run the motors with the door closed and ignition off). Also, the sunroof would at times open by itself (I unpluged it from the convenience unit). The alarm does not seem to work, either. Door lock functions do work.

The start of my questions is related to the windows always being hot, which I do not think is correct. This looks like a symptom of the issue. What should I look at to resolve?
Thanks,
Lee

K24 convenience relay module maybe bad. Check if relay is always energized or contacts are shorted - pins 1 to 3

Testing relay

So if I pull the relay, I should have continuity across pins 1 and 3 or would this be a condition that would occur under power and I would have to wiggle the relay up and try to sneak the meter probes under the relay?
Thanks,
Lee
