Haven't heard of it. Could it be perhaps the Air Mass Meter (AMM)?... most other manufacturers call it an Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.

I am not sure,I was told by another member that this was more likely my problem,and to stop playing with the fuel air mixture,I was and still am confused. I thought that perhaps the sensor on the left side of the air mass meter might be what it was? check out the sight on vacuum up date by me and on page 3 you might be able to figure it out!:dizzy2:

Pots are available for about $60. I cannot remember the source. I did find the name of the source on this site. Do a search. Yes its the three terminal device on the right side of the air mass flow sensor housing.

I would test it before replacing it. Just throwing parts at a problem without knowing the where the problem is gets expensive and frustrating quick.There is a proceedure for testing the pot that I found on this site somewhere. Do a search.

Try these;

Search is a wonderful thing.

Go back and read the original thread. An air mass sensor is not to be confused with an air flow meter. Air flow meter is another term for engine actuator, throttle body, etc. etc. On your car the air mass sensor sits on top of the air flow meter.
