I just got my new Eisenmann exhaust installed on my C220 today and after two seven mile trips, I noticed smoke each time coming out of the tips when I parked it. Is this typical for all new exhausts? Will it pass? It smells awful.

It's just because it's new. It will stop after a few days. New exhausts have anti corrosives on and in them that burn off when they are put into use.

I have had several aftermarket exhaust systems installed in a variety of cars, and most of them had done the same thing.
The internal/external coatings begin to "cure", or "burn-in" with the heat, and unfortunately, some of the by-products can be pretty noxious! I actually caused the lady in the drive-through window to pass out when she got a whiff of the newly-installed exhaust! About a week of around-town driving, and the smoke should dissipate.

My SuperSprint came with instrructions that said this will happen for about the first 100 miles or so. It been about that now and its dying down a little. Now sometimes in the morning when I leave the car idling it looks pretty cool with the white wisp of smoke coming out.
