Crank Position Sensor Replacement
AllData says I must "re-initialize" the CPS after replacement ... I do not have access to a MBZ Scan Tool to perform such a task ... Now What ????

I replaced the one in my 99 SL, (plug and play) and it just worked on it's own, the same 113 engine and electronics as in your's, it should just work.

you're supposed to rest the sensor adaptation with SDS and reinitialize it by driving 2100-2400 rpm for 30 secs in 3rd gear.
