power steering

If I wanted to replenish the power steering fluid on my 1987 420 SEL, where under the hood will I find the reservoir for that? Is there a recommended type of fluid for this type of car?

It's going to be at grey metal cylindrical reservoir with a metal cap on it. It also has a retaining nut on top which is designed to be loosened/tightened by hand. Normally in the area of the water-pump on the right side of the engine when looking in the engine bay from the front.

There are many posts about type of fluid and techniques. Do a search.
