Hello,

Over the winter, the trunk lock broke and last week the passanger side lock broke. This is for a 84 300D Turbo w/109,000 miles.

Anyway, when I stuck the key in and turned it, I heard a pop and now (with both the trunk and passenger side lock) when you turn the key it goes both ways with no resistance and it dosnt lock or unlock. BUT when you unlock it from the drivers side, they both will lock or unlock.

What do you guys think? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the advice, UHH more MB work to do over the next few weekends, euro lights and clear sidemarkers and PIAA for the other benz, lock and trunk and ac problems on this benz, AHH i need a more reliable ride, lol.
