'95 S320 Power Lock Button Problem - Please Help
 

I would appreciate help from anyone with information.

Just bought my first mercedes (1995 S320) and the power lock button on the console does not work. Checked the fuse box in the trunk. The #11 fuse controlling the Central Locking System is blown EVERYTIME the power lock button is hit. Right now the fuse is in and working fine as long as I don't hit the power lock button.
The key opens the doors fine. I can even use the key to lock/unlock all four doors.

Any information on this problem would be helpful.

Logic would say that you have a defective switch.

Waiting on a manual so I can check that out, if any one else has any other ideas feel free to share them.

I hope the manual is the MB DVD, that shows how to get the console up without breaking it
