The rear shocks on my 190E have 92,000 miles on them and are leaking...how do I change over to conventional (Bilstein?) shocks and get away from the leveling system?

Also, do you have suggestions on replacement shocks that work well with stock springs? I dont mind stiff rides...

Thanks, Rick Schwartz

Bilstien sports will work, BUT the rear springs will have to be replaced if the leveling system is disconnected!

My 2.3-16 has been converted. We used Koni adjustable shocks all around. The rear shocks are set at their medium setting. Hyperco spings on the rear and Eibach springs on the front. All the hydraulic plumbing has been removed and an aluminum plat covers where the pump was on the front of the engine.
