On an 140 series S Class auto, what do you check when the passenger vanity lamps quit working? There are two bulbs and neither work or are getting electricity to them.

I did some further checking and fire is not going through the micro-switch. I guess it is bad.

The (front) interior vanity lights get their power from the front courtesy light...so the power fault cannot be that far away.

Yes, will be trying this afternoon. The car started loosing power with the EGR hooked up. Is there any other condition that would reduce power?
