light out indicator
I have a light that's burned out somewhere on my 1999 E430. It's not a major one or I would have noticed when I did a walk around. The indicator comes on when I turn on the headlights and it blocks my whole display (clock, odometer, outside temp, etc.) Is there a way to temporarily turn off the display that tells me I have a light out so I can see my clock, etc?

Don't you have a reset button for that?

I figured there must be one, but I'm not sure which one it it. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate it.

I checked the license plate lights and they are both working. It only comes on when I turn the switch to turn on all of the lights.

Reset button is the one with ghe "R" on it, right side of the cluster.

420SEL,
Have you checked your third brake light ? - this one is easy to miss on a visual check? |
