A few weeks ago, my blower motor started working intermittently. Squealed a lot, then finally quit altogether. Seems pretty straightforward to me, a seized motor, time to replace it. But I just wanted to get a quick second opinion before i spent $100 and precious time to replace it.

Wouldn't the the squealing and the weakening of the airflow before it quit a pretty indicator that the problem is with the blower itself?

(It sure quit at just the right time. We (oklahoma city) are in the middle of the fourth ice storm this season, which is unusual in the first place, and I'm a pizza delivery driver!)
