Question Removing Sway Bar Link - Top screw????????

After reading this forum, I've purchased Sway Bar Links for the (W140) 1992 500SEL.

The bolts have been removed, but the top section will not come off. I have removed the rotor, then the nut for the link - but the link will not drop off.

Hmmmm???

Is it "stuck", which is remedied with a big hammer, or is it screwed in with threads?

In short - ho9w do I remove the current Sway Bar Links on the 500SEL? I have removed the sway bar, but the right and left links are just hanging there.

Many thanks

Smile Correct answer - thanks - Wack it with a hammer.

Thank you much

I feared wacking it with a hammer, if it was screwed in.

I wacked away, and it came loose, with no issues.

Many thanks
