E420 Wiring Harness - DIY?
I've done the search and it looks like this is/could be a 2-3 hour job for a guy with average mechanical skills.
Anyone out there actually done this? If so, what pointers can you share? Photos? Mine shows no symptoms but my wrench says it should be done "due to age". Only about 80K on the dial. Let me know. Ciao for now, |
It's almost too easy a job to need photos. It's an administative job not really a mechanical one. You just have to stay organized. But I wouldn't do it if you're not seeing any symptoms of a problem. 119 motor harnesses are not that bad, not nearly as bad as the 104 motor problems.

You didn't search in the right places.

Thanks. i did find this, it's for the 320, I've got a 420 so it's a bit different :laugh2: However, the narrative and photos do help. Good news is the 420 wiring harness is a lot less than the 320.
