Congrats....my 260E has 207k...runs great.... needs valve stem seals, however....

I have the badge... actually have it for my son's 300e, too..

next up the 300CE....

it took about 5 weeks to get the badge..

I am the 3rd owner of this particular 190.

The previous owners have spend quite a bit of money in repairs and upgrades..here is the full report as i've been able to compile..there are a few things missing i am sure..

what badge? and how far do you have to go in km to get it?

How do you go about getting a badge? Who do you write? Do you get a badge every 100k?

I have an old 1990 190E right now (third car) that I used to have, and now have back, that has 509,000km (~317,000 miles) on her. The engine has never been opened, but the top end is getting weak. Should have guides and seals, but the suspension is also bagged and there is just no point anymore in sinking money into the car. The trans is also original and I suspect might begin acting up at anytime.

My 92 400E just turned 200k also. But it's lagging. My 87 300SDL has 287k and my "new" 87 300TD just rolled past 375k miles. I figured a couple of months ago that my average car has more than a quarter million miles...

You can get grill badges using a form from the dealer (and MBUSA online?) for free at 250,000 km, 500,000 km and 1,000,000 km. That works to 155,000, 310,000, and 621,000 miles. There are also nice certificates that come with them for your wall.
