mercedes 420 sel 1991

Hello,i`m Having A Problem With The Plastic Bracket That Old The Window Swithes And Mirror Switch To The Wood Console,any Idea How To Secure This To The Wood Panel ??
Any Special Glue ??

Any Help ??

I think I found on my '86 that the plastic was fastened to the wood with staples of a sort. I carefully squeezed the parts back together in the areas where the staples were located and mine was then OK. Alternatively, any sort of adhesive should work OK i fused rationally. You need to remove the part form the console for a good evaluation and repair, though.

Same thing happened with my 90' 420 SEL. It was shot so I bought a new one and when Hef replaced it there were tiny staples holding it together.
