Lightbulb 1994 E320 Sedan - Suspension Questions

I have a 1994 E320 Sedan approaching 100k. The shocks and struts have been weak for a while I think, but now I am ready to replace them all. My question is about the other steering and suspension componets that could possibly need replaced as well? Also, would changing this car with H&R Sport Springs and Bilstein Sport Shocks & Struts be worth the trouble for sprited, yet "Mercedes" comfortable driving?

And yes chipping these cars and removing that little resistor thing behind the battery make a whopping difference. I have owned several of these cars, and this 94 beats their times by almost a full second in 0-60. Upper-band throttle response is amazing as well. Just need the suspension to go with it....

Thanks for any input, these Forums have been a real money saver.

bushings should be viewed while you're down there. also motor mounts.

if you lower and go with firmer shocks, you'll lose the Mercedes comfortable
ride. it won't pound your butt, but you will feel more ripples and joints. but,
it will also handle better. you may need realignment so plan on that as well.
