How do I take out the rear shelf on my 190E?
I know I'd have to take out the back seat (3 8mm bolts)but, on the top there seems to be something else holding the top of the seat in place aswell as the shelf on the rear deck? What am I missing here guys???

Please offer anything you can!!!!
I bought some new 5 1/4" coaxils for some better mids and would like to get them in before noon !!!!!!!!!

Thank you guys!!!!!!

How do you get the cheap plastic tabs out that hold the rear deck in place??? Is there any way to remove the tabs without breaking them? ( located in trunk behind seat back)

Please help me!!!

I found out how to separate the plastic tabs with a flat head screwdriver. As far as plastic clips go, they are actually a neat design with a plastic pin in the middle of the tap holding it together.

Should have just looked a little longer.

The rear seat has to be pushed upwards after the bolts are removed (but you already know), the 3 (?) plastic pins are clear as well, the compartment box for the emergency kit has to be removed (clamped under the rear deck and has to be taken out by pulling up the front-beware of clamps-and rotating out the rear.
The C pillar panels have to be removed and these are clamped (3 times) in the C pillar along the door opening. You can see the clamps after the velvet like trim is removed (pulling straight away from the C pillar) and these clamps have to be pushed to the rear screen. The top rear is clamped in the C pillar as well with a steel clamp; this one has to be pulled upward to release it (and the hole panel).
Don't know anything about the brake light...we didn't have them in the Netherlands.

greetingz,
