Still working on my 300E idle surging problem, but came in the garage last night and the floor was covered with coolant. I immediately knew that I probably lost the radiator (it couldn't be a hose...that would be too cheap)!
Already had the coolant tank replaced, a variety of sensors and hoses switched out, and the water pump replaced about a month ago. So the radiator is the only thing left to change out. The radiator appears to be an aluminum core with the sides made out of plastic. I couldn't detect a crack, but I could see seepage coming out of the plastic. Is this usually how these radiators go? How much effort will I encounter upon doing the installation myself?

Does PartsShop or FastLane carry OEM radiators? I checked around and there seems to be a backorder of sorts (must be the hot temps as of lately). Even dealership says it won't be until next Wednesday before any new cores come in!
