Heater valve on 201 - which direction?

I am replacing all the hoses on my cooling and removed the heater valve on my 190e 2.6. While I think I remember the direction, I did not pay enough attention removing it and want to make sure I get it back on right. The valve has an arrow on top - my recollection is that the arrow points away from the heater core towards the aux pump.

Does anyone know if this sounds correct?

Thanks!

Correct, the arrow points toward the front of the car
