Test the battery and alternator output.

RJ,
I think TM Allison is correct. If the alternator output falls below 10v, you get this light show on the dash. Best to check both battery and alternator. When this happens, ABS, ESP, and BAS are all 'off'. You can still safely stop the car, but get this looked at soon.

Check codes (normally throws three), but I'm betting on the brake light switch...My W163 and W208 threw the identical warning lights for the EXACT same issue. Replacement solved the problem on both vehicles

I know the OVP can have the same symptoms but on a 00 model year? I thought the OVP issues affected the mid-90-series cars?

Turn your climate control to "OFF" and then press and hold EC & REST for 5 seconds to get into diagnostic mode.

Toggle the left hand AUTO button to item #24 and monitor your batt voltage on the display.

Press EC and Rest to get out of diag mode.
