Airbag fault codeB1315 Front passenger seat occupied recognition with automatic chil
 

I have a 2000 ML55. I had the Airbag light come and go off and sometimes
it stays on.
I read the fault code and teh code is
B1315 Front passenger seat occupied recognition with automatic child seat recognition.

I know it is the passemger side sensor.
Just need help in installing a new sensor and exactly what I need to get from the dealer and some directions. I do have the MB DVD (Asra) and if some guru can help, that would be great.

The bad news is that the sensor itself can't be replaced, it's built into the seat cushion, including the cover. The good news is that replacing it is a pretty simple job, and when you're finished, you'll have a passengers' seat that looks new. At least the "business" part. :D

Regarding error for airbag Airbag fault code B1315
 

So, I have to order the seat cushion for the passenger side?
Any idea on the cost?
