Hi, just got a 190e and have a couple of questions.
 

I just got an 86 190E for $300 and have some things to fix. The tach dosen't work and I read that it needs a resodering but don't quite understand the fix. I have had the guage cluster out to look at it and all the wires are on the back but there is one small plug with two red wires that is just there behind the cluster.

Also I have been looking for a dash cover and can't find one is there even one made. Thanks.

Tachometers rarely need re-soldering. Most likely a failure.

Many vendors offer dash covers..some plastic & some carpet..even Pep-boys can special order them. Coverlay dash covers are plastic.
