W126 MkII Lighting - US vs. Euro
 

Just a quick question that I think I already know the answer to:

What is the conventional wisdom about quality of lighting between the MkII version of the US W126 headlights and the Euros? Trying to decide if I want to go through the effort of putting euros on a 420SEL, which would include installation of the adjusters and removal of the US wipers.. If the lighting quality does not differ that much, I probably won't bother....

Any thoughts/experiences welcome.
