how to disable E320 94 speed limiter
 

hello, my name is gabriel, if anyone can help me please do it, my email es gnm50@hotmail.com, i have two problems.

the max speed of my W124.032 E320 1994, is 205 Km/h so i know the others ones can go at 230 km/h, my car have powerfull but there is some kind of electronic limiter that does not let me go more fast.

the engine stops sometimes, the electric system of the car still on, but the engine get off, the fuelpump have problemas because when the engine stops i listen the fuelpump get off, do i have to buy it new? or it is a electric problem?

if anyone know how to power up my car, please tell me how, i like the speed, im sorry for my english maybe is not very good, im from another country, from venezuela... thanks everybody.

note, the wiring harness is new. i just want to know how to go really fast, power up my engine

Why???

your limiting factor is in the mas relay which handles fuel pump relay duties along with a/c and others.

There's no speed limiter on that car, only an over rev. limiter. (I think it is 6,300RPM)

that's the way it's done by cutting off the fuel pump.

In many countries there are MAX speed limits programed in to the fuel computer..even back in the early 90's.

Here in the USA many MB's are speed governed! The ML was always governed to less than it's capabilities. SPEED rated tires have a lot to do with that fact.

well. my english is not that good.. buw i want to know how to disable this limiter
 

even if it is a limiter, or RPM controler. etc etc, i just want to know how to disable this. because when im going 200km/h the transmision is 4500 rpm, so my transmition AT let me run the engine at 6300 RPM aprox, so im sure that there is somehow i can fix this problem, i feel the engine have powerfull to go 230 km/h without problem..

Yo no conozco la solución. Solo te recomiendo revisar que los airbags estén operando bien porque a esa velocidad.... :eek:
