She's A Smutty Girl

My 1990 190e 2.6 has a smutty tail pipe, runs great , good gas mileage, idles smoothly, no oil consumtion, passed Colo. emmission test. I have noticed all the MB's in this area has this problem while my Lincoln is gray and dry. Any suggestions??
