In my 89 560 my line is leaking up front. I am an hour from the nearest dealer. What else can I use in here? Is it just straight hydraulic fluid or is a certain weight, etc.. Do you reccommend a certain brand ie: castrol, Napa, etc. Thanks! Nick

What line is leaking? Brake line, power steering line, tanny cooling line? All three are up front and all three use different fluids.

Hydraulic fluid for rear suspension. The resevoir behind my headlight keeps getting low and I hate driving an hour to the dealer for fluid until I get around to fixing it. Can I use another brand of hydraulic fluid other than MB for my hydraulic rear suspension?
