2000 C-230 Won't start
 

Strange, came home from work, pulled in my side of the garage, just like any other day. This morning, I jumped in and put in the key, all the lights on the dash light up (bright), and it won't crank. Nothing. I bought a battery charger at Wal-mart, after several hours it cranked. I let it run for a while, cut it off, they tried to cut it back on. Nothing. Took the battery back to Sears, they tell me nothing is wrong with it. Infact its beyond factory specs they say.
I've since tried to jump it, no go. I do hear a clicking under the hood followed by a loud hum.
My guess is it is the solenoid/starter.
I'm a body repair guy, I know how to fix body repairs, but mechanical / electrical I need a little help.
