can someone please identify what is this
rounded plate with a big allen wrench marking
just above the trans. pan at driver side.

leak appears coming inside it. what is inside?
an O ring/s or any rubber gasket that needs
replacement? is a DIY job?

thanks for any info!

Joel,
Did you ever get the answers to your questions? I'd be interested in knowing what the fix would be for a leak in the area that you've mentioned. Thanks.

Joel,

Click on the link above, you will find the answer to your query, posted by Benzmac, "The B-1 reaction valve is the barrel behind the bolt that is leaking........They can be
purchased for about $100. or so and install in about 15 minutes......"

What you need now are the part number and the instructions for the 15 minutes labor.
