I noticed the other day that if I accelerate hard, then immediately brake hard, the "BRAKE" indicator on the cluster lights up. It then flickers for a bit, and goes out when I let off the brake pedal. Is it just an indication of low brake fluid? That would make sense because of inertia on the fluid and car stopping hard, blah blah. Is it a different problem?
The car is going in for it's big scheduled maint. in a couple weeks, so not *that much to worry about. Thanks

I tried to check the fluid (just a quick look) but I was unable to tell if it was low or not because the cowl comes over the reservoir, so looking into it doesn't really work. I can not see through the plastic either to see the fluid level. Shouldn't the level be up to the top?
Another thing, The "Hydraulic Oil" tank that is behind the left headlamp, under a plastic cover piece. That level is at half tank...where should it be? The main difficulty I'm having it the level to which to check, I don't see any marks. Thanks
