1995 Mercedes E320 DTC 10 Help!

I have a California 1995 E320 Cabriolet that has just recently been giving me a DTC 10. I understand that code 10 does not apply to the 1995 E320 except perhaps for California state emissions requirements. The engine runs fine except for an occasional surge at idle when it is at operating temperature. When I clear the code, it returns after 2 engine run / stop cycles (as it is suppose to). I would appreciate any advise / directions. Thanks!

Are you referring to the DM (diagnostic module)?
Code 10 on the DM could mean:
'Voltage at mass air sensor too high/low'
