How remove MAF on 430CLK ???

I've searched the forum, and only found vague insturctions.
Need some real help.

I see an electrical connection, that doesn't want to come loose.
I see a shiny steel clip, that I can't figure how to lossen.
Are there more attachement points ?

How do you get this platic MAF housing off the car ?

How do I get to the sensor inside ?

i replaced the MAF on my E55, which share the same design

You'll have to push the clip with a screwdriver towards the firewall to release the assembly. There is a thick rubebr seal, that makes pulling the MAF assembly rather tricky. But it will eventually yield. But before you pull it out, you need to remove the pastic ring that is holding the MAF assembly attached to 2 alluminum pylons on the enfine (front).
Hope this helps, I did the same on my C240 w/ 2.6L V6.

Thanks,
You've been a help.

I have made a "REAL" instructional on changing the air filters, and cleaning the MAF on a 2000 430CLK.
