Can someone please tell me how to remove the two center vent housing on my 83' 300D. The formed rubber housing which directs the AC air is not attached and cold air blow out the side wall.

I presume that your car is of w123 designation. if so, remove the bottom dashboard covers, insert your hand behind the air con vents from behind the dash, grab the stem of the circular vent and twist, it should pop out easily.
