So tell me about theese M/B multiplexers
 

I keep seeing theese M/B multiplexers on e-bay and such and was wondering if they are any good considering m/B wants a fortune for that stuff.

those are needed to interface the factory diagnostic tool (laptop) to the car, have gone down in price recently, were alot more expensive just a few years ago.

The MB multiplexer hasn't come down any that I know of, but its only electronics and bootleggers gotta eat. Of course there are no ethics coming out of China either when it comes to intellectual property rights and the really cheap stuff seems to be coming out of Asia or the former Soviet block.

The multiplexer does nothing without the stolen software of course. Strange how that works. When you buy the software from MB the multiplexer comes for free, when you buy the multiplxer from the thief the software comes free.

I saw an ad for one on here up top where the vendors advertize, and was wondering what the deal was with that one compared to the "others."

if you don't get them from mercedes, then it is not legal, i can't believe the forum won't allow carfax requests, but allow ads for stolen or illegal software. the forum moderators also may be unaware of the ads, since google places them.

Yeah, I figured it was one of those revolving pop up ads that change every 30 seconds or so, but I guess the timing was just right.
