HVAC issues on my 1992 400 E

I own a 1992 400 E and I go to use the A/C and it's working fine for about a minute and then it shuts off, and the red light for the recirculation air button starts to blink. It feels like it blowing cold air out of the middle two vents and blowing heat out of the outer to vents. any help or where to start on this thing I would appericate.

I'd check the OVP relay fuse and the refrigerant pressures (low charge?) as a first step.
The Golden Rule
