I am going to do an engine swap on a 1987 190E 2.3 16v. The present motor has low compression and I have found a new crate motor. I want to know if there are any special tools, any wierd procedures, anything strange that is involved. Do I need to have the A/C discharged or can I pull everything without mesing with the A/C? I had planned on replacing all rubber hoses as well as vacuum lines, the transmission mount, installing a clutch kit,new exhaust gaskets etc, Any thing I am missing? Thank you in advance for any help that you can provide.
