We have a 1969 220 with dual solex carbs (look to be original and in poor condition). Does anyone have a good source for new or rebuilt units? I looked on this web site but didn't find any. Are there carburetors still on the market or are we looking at a rebuild?

Try posting this on the the Vintage Mercedes forum. Might get a better response. For rebuilding, you might try Will Samples at S & S in Dallas 214.826.5977. He specializes in 190SLs, which also have Solex Carbs. You might also want to see if Weber has a replacement (www.webercarbs.com) and call the folks at Top End and see. Might also try Pierce Manifolds in California.
