190e pitman arm
Hi,
I have a 93 190e 2.3 4cyl. I took it to NTB for front end alignment. The tech suggested that i replace the pitman arm & idler arm before he could do the alignment. He said that there is a lot of play in the steering wheel. I have not heard of the pitman arm being replaced here in the forum or anywhere else. I couldn't find any place that sells a pitman arm for the 190e. Is it really necessary. ??? Please advise. Thanks smk_texas |
Any ideas ???? Thanks

May be he said idler arm bushing!
If replace idler arm bushing, i will recommend to replace steering damper at the same time as well. |
Thanks Jeff. Some of my other friends said the same thing. I'll replace the idler arm bushing & the steering dampner like you suggested.
