2000 c230 k loud at 3000 rpm's

I know that the C230 komperssors are normaly a noisey runing, but at 110k miles, I had replaced the supercharger, because it was worn (metal to metal), and although the new one is fine, I feel the vehcile is still loud. Is the exaust an issue at that amount of miles, or could it be something else? The road noise is common with the tires, but the loudness does come from the engine and exaust at the 3000 rpm (80mph). any help would be nice.

"metal to metal"..? Did the compressor shell out? If it did, did you flush out the cooler and check all your lines? Maybe there was metal debris in the system and you have it still circulating in the system. Just a thought.
I've found that the Kompressors seem to go through motor and trans. mounts faster than any of the NA 202's. It's worth looking into. Last week I had a loud noise at about 3000 rpms, but could also feel a bad vibration in the steering wheel. It was just the trans. mount= 2000 C230K @ 98,000 miles.
