I have an '85 190E 2.3L that is having some problems. First it felt like I was running on 3 cylinders at all RPM ranges. I was loosing lots of power. I decided to park it until I had a chance to look at it. I started to trouble shoot this morning and it sound like I was on one cylinder, barely enough to keep it running. Now it won't even start. I looked in the repair manual I have gone through the checks and found the resistance of the two terminals on the distributor to the ignition control is 120 ohms at the distributor and 138 ohms on the end of the wire. The manual I have says it should be between 500 and 700 ohms. Can anyone verify these readings???

Thanks for the help,
Thumpar
