Ok, I have now replaced both sides of the eng ign coil banks, and new plugs ($3000) to stop a cyl misfire that the shop said is being caused by the ign packs. No change. If I unplug the battery for 10 minutes, it runs perfectly for 5-10 minutes, then misses again. When it is running perfectly I can remove the injector plugs one at a time and the eng misses as it should, plug it back in and the eng runs smooth. Then out of the blue the eng light flashes, then it runs rough again. Problem is; with 12 cyl's I can't tell how many are dropping off line. I am scheduled to ge back to the shop tomorrow am. Any ideas?? The shop is good, the guys are smart, but everybody is stumped !!!! 48,000 miles only, never raced or driven hard. That is why I have the MV Agusta F4 1000.:grim:

Great news for those of you interested. After replaceing both ign packs and spark plugs on my car, I decided to replace the #1 fuel injector. After 3 hours of being bent over the front end, and lots of sweat, I got the new injector in, cleaned and lubed the other 11, and after the fuel got back through the fuel rail; OH YEAH !! Runs like it did when it brand new. I am not angry about putting both ign banks on ($2400), the plugs needed replaced anyway with only 47,500 miles. The difficult part was getting all of the rats nest of wiring back where it belonged. I discovered you can't get the fuel rail back on properly without removing all injectors, attaching them to the rail, them installing it all together. So, I feel like a S600 pro now. Ps, 2 years ago I had to replace the hydraulic pump for the suspension, cake walk compared to this job. Thx everybody.
