88 420sel engine temperature sensor
 
Does anyone know the location of the three pin engine temperature sensor on this car?

The USA 1988 420sel has several 2 pin sensors..one for thew fuel system & 1 for the aux fan. A California version has a single 4 pin connector for the fuel system & a 2 pin blue sensor for the aux fans.

All in the intake manifold
