EZL Receptacle ???
 
What is the EZL Receptacle on the back of the instrument panel for?

I have the instrument panel out of my (W126) 1987 420 SEL as I change the A/C evaporator and expansion valve when I noticed a EZL Receptacle on the back of the instrument panel but no connector in the wiring harness.

does the tachometer work? usually it is the signal from the ezl to operate the tachometer
