advice on the longevity of S class vehicles

I currently own a 2006 S350 and love the car. Does anyone have any opinion on the longevity of these vehicles and when problems will begin to occur with various systems on the vehicles? I have had absolutely no problems to date (35,000) miles but just wonder when all of the nice features will begin to be a problem. I've owned many Mercedes through the years and am considering keeping this one a long time. Since this vehicle was the last year of the model run, there should be some history out there on this version of the S class. Thanks for any info.

I don't really see how you can predict something like that. Mercedes reliability has been all over the place the past 10 years, but trending upward again. The next CPO car I buy may well be a 2006 S350. I like it because it's the simplest of the S-classes (w220) and the last of that body. I'd say you'll end up with the most reliable w220 in the series, fwiw.
