losing tranny fluid, no puddle w124
 

ok, so i'm losing tranny fluid, probably 1 quart a week... weird thing is, there's no puddling in my driveway... no apparent drips anywhere after i park. i figure it's losing fluid while in motion? what can cause this? any pressure weak points? i may have gone up some steep grades but i really don't recall, can this be a simple leak?

check the vacuum line to the trans modulator.if the modulator is bad you will suck the fluid into the intake and burn it.

DANG! that makes sense! i totally missed that... aaaaargh, maybe that explains why i'm giving off smoke... i also lose engine oil though not that much... bad turbo seals... i'll go check it out, thanks bud! :)
