Hello all,
I spent the better part of the day today trying to repair our sunroof. It periodically decides not to work. I took it off and today had it working just fine except when I put the inside lining in it wouldn't go up. Then I took the lining out and the the roof alone won't go up. I don't know what in the world is wrong with it. The front is also sitting up about 3-4 mm above the roof of the car and no matter what I do, I can't get it to sit fulsh. Does anyone have any experience with these things. This has me really irritated as I have spent numerous hours on it and I can't get it to work properly. Any assistance is appreciated.

Without seeing it this would be a tough diagnosis. Either the front guides are positioned incorrectly or the height adjustment for the front of the panel is way off. HTH

It might be possible that the plastic arms that have to push the rear of the roof up are broken (common problem with the power slide/tilt sunroofs).
