M104 Air Pump Replacement (stupid) question
I have a new air pump to replace the one in my 1993 300E2.8 - while I can get the bolts out and I have the pump detached from the bracket, the clip on the hose on the back of the pump has me stumped.
How do I get this clip off?

Squeeze the 2 ends with pliers and pull it off.

If I ever meet the chap who designed that clip, I may have to hurt him.
What's the torque on the bolts holding the air pump onto it's bracket? I'm looking at repair sheet 14-7251, but it doesn't mention the torque for the bolts. Any ideas, anyone?
