Datacard for VIN WDB10702312012951 is not found
1) VIN was misspelled in the request form;
2) VIN was erroneously read from vehicle body or documents;
3) VIN is not of an original vehicle and was forged by criminals;
4) The vehicle was produced in late 2005 or 2006, and is not included yet in our database

WDB 107 023 12 012951

I think the 11th digit should be a letter.

Thanks, is there a site where this is listed? (just curious) The car I'm looking at is supposed to be a 1978? Euro bumpers, lights etc. From reading the SL forum here and elsewhere it looks like some of the 450SLC's were re-badged 350SLC's due to emissions. Anyone know how to tell which engine it has from appearence? From pictures I've seen, it looks like the 350's air intake to the air filter is on the right (drivers) side vs. the 450's being on the left. Is this correct or accurate?
Thanks,
Tom

<<The car I'm looking at is supposed to be a 1978? Euro bumpers, lights etc. >>

A 1978 version would be a 107.024 chassis.
Makes no difference what the badges say, The chassis # is what you go by and your chassis info/yr, etc. is as I stated .
You have a 107.023., not a .024

..and if it is a .023 , it is a much better deal than a .024, providing it has the 116 engine still in it.
